The last four episodes of The Clone Wars were somewhat fun but overall I was heavily disappointed. With the first four episodes featuring some exciting action sequences and great character development, the next four episodes were a bit…blah in comparison. Well, it’s very clear that these last four episodes detailing “The Siege of Mandalore” are going to be absolutely incredible if this ninth episode is anything to go by. It had everything!
Anakin and Obi-Wan’s hilarious banter, some great music that left me feeling so many levels of nostalgia, Ahsoka and Anakin’s reunion that got me surprisingly emotional, and lots and lots of action. Next week’s episode is going to be awesome!!! and I can’t wait to see what happens!
I thank you for reading and I hope you have a wonderful day. May the Force be with you.
The past week has been interesting. I’ve seen a whole bunch of new movies and my sister has created some dazzling art pieces that I have been eager to share. So, with no further delay, here they are.
Ahsoka Tano and Anakin Skywalker? Um…yes! This piece brought Ahsoka to life in a realistic way, showcasing her as the bad*** we all know she is. And my sister perfectly managed to capture Anakin in this piece as well. Plus, with the stark red background that dangles between the Light and the Dark, it’s very clear these two Jedi Knights are no saints. Continue reading Fan Art Wednesday
The Clone Wars is back and its second episode reaffirmed that by giving the fans what we wanted; more Anakin, some Obi-Wan and some Padme, all with the new clones and fan-favorite, Captain Rex, leading the story. The action was ramped up, the story feels like it’s getting somewhere, and the realization that the entire season takes place during the timeline of Revenge of the Sith is beyond exciting.
This Friday the story should get even more interesting after the second episode’s intriguing conclusion and I’m hoping that it’s all leading to the horrifying slight-reveal of the clones troopers’ eventual doom at the hands of Order 66. Ooh, this is going to be a fun ride.
I thank you for reading and I hope you have a lovely day. May the Force be with you.
Three days. Yes, I said it. Three days away from The Clone Wars returning.
That’s the post.
I thank you for reading and I hope you have a beautiful day. May the Force be with you.
I cannot fully express to you how excited I am to see The Clone Wars next week.
A couple of years ago I binge-watched the animated series and quickly determined why I enjoyed it so much as a child. But since that binge-watch session, I haven’t revisited these episodes so with The Clone Wars getting its long-awaited final season I was thrilled, of course, but I had forgotten what was going on.
Well, Disney+ is very thoughtful of individuals like me who needed a bit of catching up to do, so they listed twenty essential episodes to watch and guess what, I watched eighteen of them (two of them I had seen recently so I chose not to watch them.)
The earlier episodes were good, the later episodes were phenomenal! I watched all eighteen episodes in the span of three days and now I’m fully prepared for the story ahead. Continue reading It’s One Week Away from ‘The Clone Wars’
Last Valentine’s Day, I shared a post ranking the romantic moments in Star Wars from worst to best. This year, I decided to take a vastly different approach by focusing on the tragic outcomes of these romantic relationships in this incredible franchise. I mean, think about it. Every love story ends badly. Don’t believe me? Well, read on.
Cliegg Lars and Shmi Skywalker
When Anakin Skywalker left Tatooine with Qui-Gon Jinn his mother Shmi was left behind. However, a man named Cliegg Lars would go on to marry her and they would have a happy life together…until Tusken Raiders captured her in the night and tortured her to death. Talk about a tragic ending. Continue reading The Tragedy of Love in ‘Star Wars’
