Here are Six Fantastic Christmas Books To Give Your Children for the Holidays

Christmas. It’s, for children, the best holiday of the year. It’s the time of the year when the mysterious Santas Claus grants children’s wishes (as long as they have been nice rather than naughty) and gives them gifts beneath the dazzling, mesmerizing Christmas tree.

These gifts come in all shapes and sizes. Of course, some of those gifts children want are new toys but I’ve personally learned there’s another gift that can sometimes be more special than any toy and that is a book.

As a child, along with other gifts, my parents would give us books for Christmas (namely Geronimo Stilton books) and it was the best! My sister and I would read those books over and over, marveling at the adventures Geronimo Stilton and his friends embarked upon.

So yes, along with the toys, games, or cute clothes you may give your children this Christmas there should definitely be a new book for them to enjoy mixed in with all of the gifts. Continue reading Here are Six Fantastic Christmas Books To Give Your Children for the Holidays

Here’s the Third Teaser Poster for Captain America: Secret War

Yesterday I shared with you two teaser posters featuring Captain America and Black Widow for my new fanfiction story which is set to come out this Friday. Today I’ll share with you a poster for Sharon Carter, who I’m very excited to give a greater role in this story.

For Sharon Carter, she’s never played a huge role in the movies other than to provide an aspect of romance between her and Steve Rogers. Now, joining Steve Roger’s side, she has decided to take on the role as a Secret Avenger, which is a fitting homage to her grandaunt, Peggy Carter, who was always such an awesome heroine.

Sharon has always had the potential to be just as great as Peggy Carter and I’m letting her shine in this fanfiction adventure. I’m so excited to share with you her brand new journey.

Tomorrow I’ll share with you the final two teaser posters for the story and I can’t wait for you to see them. 🙂

I thank you for reading and I hope you have a lovely day.

Throwback Friday: An Awesome Find

Throwback Friday is a fun segment for me because I get the chance to revisit posts that I have forgotten that I loved writing very much. This is one of those posts. I wrote this post last year on March 5 and, so, it’s only fitting that I resurface it for today’s segment of Throwback Friday. I hope you enjoy. 🙂

I was riding around yesterday enjoying a gloriously peaceful Sunday morning with my family when my mother happened to spot this jaw-dropping, ginormous mural of Yoda just sitting on the side of a building. There was no way we weren’t going to stop and take a picture.

Isn’t that awesome?

I mean look at the sheer size of this mural. It’s profoundly stunning. This was literally made early last year as you can see from the date on the brick (5/4/17) and I can honestly tell you I’ve never seen anything like this in my life. Not only is Yoda humongous but he’s so perfectly drawn and detailed as well. And the way Yoda is sprouting from the flames is utterly perfect (to me the meaning of Yoda in the fire represents him coming back from the ashes of death to grace this wall.) At the time this mural was made I’m sure the painter had no idea that Yoda would really return in The Last Jedi? The force was strong with whoever painted this fantastic piece of art. Awesome.

I love Star Wars and everything Star Wars and to find this breathtaking mural was the perfect beginning to my morning yesterday. I thank you for reading and I hope you have a beautiful day. May the Force Be With You.

A Beautiful Picture

My younger sister is a wonderful artist. She’s been an artist all her life. She took our toys when we were children and drew all over them to make them look different. She cut her Barbie doll’s hair to give her a new hairstyle (that doll actually ended up looking cooler.) And together we used to take take clay and make our Star Wars toys new outfits (particularly Padme Amidala.) Like I said, she’s an artist, and she is incredible.

She took a simple photo of me and remastered it to look like this! I couldn’t believe my eyes. She captured everything that I love and put it all into one stunning picture that I couldn’t be more proud of.

She’s pretty much the best little sister any sibling could ever have and I just wanted to share her gift to me with all of you.

I thank you for reading and I hope you have a beautiful day.
