‘Air’ Just Reminded Me Why Michael Jordan is the GOAT

It’s hard to imagine a world where Nike isn’t the most dominant sports brand globally, yet there was a time when that was the case. Air is the incredible true story of how a small running shoe company in Oregon took a chance on one young man and ultimately changed the trajectory of so many lives.

Oscar-winner Ben Affleck reminds us how great a filmmaker he is with this fantastic film that highlights the spirit of ingenuity and risk-taking. I found myself overwhelmed with joy as the film progressed, especially as it became clearer and clearer the genius of such a moment in American history.

Throwback Friday: ‘Justice League’ After a Second Viewing

In the light of knowing that we will be getting to the Snyder Cut next year, I’m revisiting this review of Justice League after watching it for only the second time a few months ago. Enjoy!

I haven’t seen Justice League since I went to watch it in IMAX in November of 2017 but after Aquaman, I have obtained an almost troubling desire to watch this movie again. For weeks I have waited to see it and finally, last night, I got to watch it.

My review of Justice League last time wasn’t a scathing review of a terrible film but rather a delighted account that highlighted the film’s strengths rather than its weakness. However, after seeing how incredible Aquaman was and then watching Justice League it definitely was a bit jarring to see the striking difference between the two films. Simply Aquaman is great, Justice League is not.

I found myself slightly cringing whenever Bruce Wayne was on the screen because he looked terribly wooden and slightly if I’m being honest, bloated.

Here Are Twelve Actors Who Have Played Two Different Characters in Superhero Movies

Over the years I have watched dozens of superhero movies. Some are lame and mostly forgettable, others are utterly fantastic and downright riveting. Today, I’m sharing with you a list of actors who have managed to cross superhero franchises, sometimes in the to play multiple roles. Enjoy!

12. Peter Dinklage

Peter Dinklage, known for his numerous roles in cinema as well as his most popular role on Game of Thrones, would play small roles in X-Men: Days of Future Past and Avengers: Infinity War as Dr. Bolivar Trask and the giant dwarf, Eitri. I loved him as Eitri. It was quite a surprise that I wasn’t expecting. Continue reading Here Are Twelve Actors Who Have Played Two Different Characters in Superhero Movies

Ben Affleck Is Officially Out as Batman

A couple of days ago it was announced that Henry Cavill was no longer playing Superman and on the heels of that shocking announcement it seems that Ben Affleck is stepping away as well. Now, this was rumored since Justice League came out so it isn’t much of a surprise but it’s still a little jarring seeing two of the DCEU’s biggest heroes step down in the same week.

Now the casting for another Batman must begin. I’m excited. 🙂

I thank you for reading and I hope you have a lovely day.

Who’s Your Favorite Batman?

Batman is one of the coolest fictional characters to ever be conceived on the big screen. Before I knew Iron Man and Captain America and Wonder Woman I loved Batman. Batman was, and still is, one of the coolest superheroes ever created and these three gentlemen have played the iconic role the best.

The “Who’s the best Batman” debate can get a little heated and is a topic that will last for a long while between avid superhero fans and so I decided I wanted to make it the topic of this week’s segment of Who’s Your Favorite? Enjoy.
