Temuera Morrison Returns to ‘Star Wars’

Temuera Morrison, known for portraying Jango Fett in Attack of the Clones, has been pretty much confirmed to be cast in the second season of The Mandalorian as the iconic bounty hunter, Boba Fett.

Not only does this confirm that Boba Fett will, indeed, be in this next season but the fact that they’re casting Morrison in the role also highlights the fact that we will see Boba’s face for the first time since he was a boy in Attack of the Clones. That is such an intriguing thought and if you weren’t excited for the second season before, this announcement will probably do the trick.

Throwback Friday: Which Characters Should Appear in Cassian’s Live-Action Series?

When it was announced that there was going to be a live-action series on Disney+ focusing on fan-favorite Cassian Andor I couldn’t believe it. I was and still, am so excited about this news. Cassian is my favorite Rogue One character and with this series, he can finally get the backstory that he so absolutely deserves. But there’s another exciting element to this news and that is the idea that other awesome characters can make appearances in this series. Characters we all know and love and haven’t been given enough time to shine. So, on that note, here’s a list of characters that I think could make some surprise appearances on the show.

Mon Mothma

Mon Mothma has played an important leadership role in the Rebellion for many years and as obvious from the movie she has a relationship with Cassian as his superior. I think it is inevitable to see her make an appearance or two in the series.

Darth Vader

While it’s pretty likely that Cassian and Darth Vader will most likely never cross paths there is always a slight possibility that it could potentially. Maybe on one of Cassian’s spy missions, he’ll see Vader from afar or just barely manage to avoid him. That could be very entertaining.

The Ten Best ‘Galaxy of Adventures’ Shorts…So Far

A few months ago I would share with you the newest Star Wars: Galaxy of Adventures shorts that would debut on the Star Wars Kids channel on Youtube…and then I got slack. I stopped watching the shorts until a few days ago when I decided to binge-watch all of the episodes that I had missed.

Turns out there were about fifteen shorts that I hadn’t seen and many of them were kind of amazing. So, today, I’m here to share with you my ten favorite shorts so far.

10. Leia and Han-The Han Rescue

Who doesn’t love the relationship between Leia and Han? It’s a beautifully told love story that has transcended generations and this short only highlights Leia’s powerful role in this romance. No, she is not treated as a damsel in distress and I LOVE that. Hence, this is one of my favorite Galaxy of Adventure shorts. Continue reading The Ten Best ‘Galaxy of Adventures’ Shorts…So Far

Am I More Excited for a Boba Fett or an Obi-Wan Kenobi Standalone Film?

The second standalone film to appear in the Star Wars universe since Disney bought the galactic franchise has arrived and with its arrival Disney can look forward to its next entries with these standalone movies. Nothing has been made official but it looks like LucasFilm is setting their eyes on either a film focusing on Boba Fett or Obi-Wan Kenobi and that’s awesome. The idea of a Han Solo-centered film didn’t appeal to me that much but the thought of a movie that focuses on one of my favorite Jedi and one of my favorite bounty hunters sounds very exciting. But which movie do I want to see more? Well, that’s what I’m here to talk about. Enjoy!

Boba Fett

Boba Fett became an instant fan favorite after his debut in The Empire Strikes Back but my first introduction to the character was through The Attack of the Clones. I honestly didn’t care that much for Boba but I thought his father, Jango Fett, was SO cool with his silver and blue Mandalorian armor. When I eventually did see Boba Fett in his classic glory I was positively amazed at how cool he also was. In fact, when he got swallowed by the Sarlaac at the beginning of Return of the Jedi I was kind of disappointed because he was such an awesome character I was hoping he would be around longer.

When rumors began circling that a Boba Fett standalone film was in the works I thought it was an interesting idea but I wasn’t down for entirely for the concept of a movie surrounding the story of the mysterious bounty hunter. But now, after seeing the trailers and publicity surrounding Solo (I still haven’t seen the actual movie yet) my imagination for movies focusing on the criminal underworld of the Star Wars universe seems like a great idea. Solo is focusing on characters that are smugglers and these characters look so cool.
