Every week I watch the latest episode of the latest Marvel or Star Wars Disney+ series at 3am but unfortunately yesterday, well, I fell asleep. I fell asleep hard. So I didn’t get around to a second viewing until today but when I did I liked what I watched.
I’m going to first announce that yes, this was my favorite episode so far. Whereas Chapter 2 was better but still had some personal kinks to iron out I found this particular episode delightful on so many levels.
The usage of droids in the episode was hilarious, the action finally felt fun to look at, and heck yeah, Boba’s ship came to play.
It felt like this episode made Boba Fett awesome again. There were moments when I was cheering with excitement and others when I was simply appreciating what I was seeing.

If you’ve been following my blog and my weekly reviews of The Bad Batch you will notice that I have become more and more frustrated with this show, mainly its narrative structure.
To be fair, the series isn’t awful. Far from it. Compared to the first seasons of The Clone Wars and Star Wars: Rebels, it is a step above in terms of storyline and enjoyment, and yet for the last five weeks I’ve come away from each episode feeling more and more peeved.
Last week’s episode gave us a surprise return of a beloved fan favorite in Cad Bane (btw, he’s my favorite bounty hunter) and that was exciting but ultimately, once again, I came away from the episode feeling a little letdown. The episode itself wasn’t bad but it felt like everything got to where it was because of some convenient twist that could’ve been avoided if it wasn’t there to drive the story forward.
Hence, this week I watched the episode with little expectation and ended up having so much fun!
Continue reading We finally Got a Great Episode of ‘The Bad Batch’!
The latest episode of The Bad Batch was this season’s shortest and yet it never failed to disappoint. The relationship between Hunter and Omega is becoming a major staple to the show, even if it does feel kind of like it’s piggybacking the success of The Mandalorian, but to make sure things wouldn’t get stale they brought back a fan favorite: Fennec Shand.
Fennec made her debut in the first season of The Mandalorian and instantly became a fan favorite with her bad*** moments. And then we thought she was dead forever, until she came back for a surprise return in the second season and surprised us even further by getting a major role in the upcoming Mandalorian spinoff.
Now she has returned for The Bad Batch and it seems she is going to be around for a minute. It was very exciting to see her in this episode but most importantly, the episode focused on the subtle implications of Fennce Shand being more than a ruthless killer but rather a person with a heart.
We see her focusing on her objective, capturing Omega, but there is a sort of tenderness to her actions with Omega. Maybe she’ll become a bit of an ally later down the road. We’ll see.
All in all, the episode was pretty darn entertaining and my favorite of the season so far. Let’s see what happens this week.
I thank you for reading and I hope you have a splendid day. May the Force be with you.
Last December the second season of The Mandalorian ended but we got a secret spinoff announced; The Book of Boba Fett. It was a shocking announcement. Fans, including me, thought The Mandalorian had concluded and that this was the third season. Then we discovered that it is, in fact, a spinoff. Since learning about the news there has been little to anything said about The Book of Boba Fett. And that’s partly because Marvel Studios has completely distracted us with its two series, WandaVision and The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. And then there has been the casting and production news for Kenobi and Andor which have also thrown us off the Book of Boba Fett scent.
But guess what, fellas? It’s still coming this Christmas and in several months we may start to finally get some casting news for The Book of Boba Fett and a trailer. Will we see The Bad Batch set up something for this Mandalorian spinoff? It’s very possible considering that we were introduced to Fennec Shand in The Mandalorian before she makes her animated debut in The Bad Batch.
Until then, here are some ideas of who I think could be in this show.
Even though she hasn’t been officially listed on the cast list on IMDb I think it’s pretty obvious that she’s going to be in The Book of Boba Fett.

I missed getting to this post yesterday so…here we go a day late. Enjoy!

This is so pretty. I don’t have much else to say about it because what else can I say? It’s gorgeous, end of story. Continue reading Fan Art Thursday
