‘Obi-Wan Kenobi’ Was Amazing!

That finale was actually incredible. For so long these Disney+ series have botched the finale but thankfully Obi-Wan Kenobi stuck the landing big time.

I smiled, I gasped, I cried, I cheered, and when the credits began to roll I clapped. This series was even better than I’d imagined it would be. It was a different story than I expected, it created a bridge to the Original Trilogy while also managing to be fresh and new. And yes, it definitely left room for a second season.

And that ending?! Wow, wow, wow, wow.

I thank you for reading and I hope you have a fantastic day.

That Episode of ‘Obi-Wan Kenobi’ Was AMAZING!

One word: aaaahhhhh! This episode was mind-blowing from the start! Action-packed, check. Jaw-dropping, check. But most importantly, the emotional side of this episode and the stakes that came with it was incredible.

I don’t have much else to say as of right now because I’m still processing but I will say this. Six episodes doesn’t feel like enough time back with Kenobi. I’m really hoping for a second season.

I thank you for reading and I hope you have a great day.

‘Obi-Wan Kenobi’ and the Return of…HIM

When Ewan McGregor said he was reprising his role of Obi-Wan Kenobi we, the fans, went nuts with excitement. He was back! After years of speculation, he was finally back. And then we got a second surprise. Hayden Christensen would be back too as the legendary Darth Vader for another epic showdown. The shock was palpable, the excitement was electric, and all in all, I absolutely couldn’t wait to see this show.

Now that it’s here, it’s far better than I could’ve imagined. Parts I and II were already special and utterly transfixing but Part III was undoubtedly some of the best Star Wars I’ve ever had the fortune of witnessing. From the first second to the last the episode reveals that is not going to be a boring episode. In fact, it established instantly that the episode would, on many occasions, be designed to emotionally wreck Star Wars fans. And that’s what it did.

Obi-Wan’s time with Leia has been spectacular and emotionally rewarding. The line where she asks him if he’s her real father gets me choked up every time. But it’s the episode’s last ten-fifteen minutes that will stand out as some of the tensest, most incredible minutes in Star Wars history. And that, of course, involved the return of the legend, Darth Vader.

Kylo Ren Is the New Anakin Skywalker

Ever since I’ve watched The Force Awakens I have been constantly struck by the incredible similarities between Anakin Skywalker and his grandson, Ben Solo. There have been so many parallels between the two characters and here are some of the most striking examples.

1. Their Features

So here’s Anakin with his scar, that long hair and dark brown robes.

And then you have Kylo Ren who looks nearly identical in everything but his face. His hair is long and curled like his grandfather’s, he bears a scar eerily similar to that of Anakin’s, and he wears dark robes like he did.

2. They Both Despise Masters

Anakin didn’t entirely trust the tutelage of his master, Obi-Wan Kenobi, or that of the Jedi Council and that led him to eventually joining Emperor Palpatine as the Sith Lord promised him power and everything that he desired.

And Kylo Ren didn’t fully trust Luke Skywalker either, that’s why when he saw his uncle over him with a drawn lightsaber he was so quick to turn against him and join Snoke. He even turned against his master Snoke. Both of them had issues with masters and both of them joined the dark side.
