‘Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom’ Promises Horror With This Latest TV Spot

If you weren’t excited about Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom this tv spot might change your mind. Check it out.

Last night I was watching the first game in the NBA Finals and when this commercial came on I was totally riveted. This movie, by far, looks so much better than Jurassic World and I really enjoyed Jurassic World in the movies, specifically in IMAX. One of my favorite things about the Jurassic franchise is that horror aspect the films so easily concoct and this short clip of the movie was legitimately terrifying. I can’t wait to see what happens next.

I thank you for reading and I hope you have a terrific day. 🙂

Is ‘Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom’ Going To Be A Major Success or an Unfortunate Flop?

The first time I was ever introduced to the Jurassic franchise was in the Spring of 2013. They had brought Jurassic Park back to the movie theaters in IMAX and my Daddy took me and my sister to see it. I had never seen Jurassic Park before then. I only knew that it was a famous movie about dinosaurs so I had no clue the ride I was in for. I walked out of that movie theater positively horrified and exhilarated at how incredible that film was. The dinosaurs looked real despite the fact that it was a 90s’ film. The music, composed by John Williams, was incredible. And my overall experience was just, in a word, fantastic.

Since watching Jurassic Park I have become a legitimate fan of the franchise. I’ve seen The Lost World: Jurassic Park which I really enjoyed and I’ve seen Jurassic World and now, with Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, a new installment for the franchise is close to roaring into theaters and I’m legitimately excited for it. But the question is, will Jurassic World be a fantastic movie or will it be a disappointment like its predecessor was? Well, that’s what I’m here to talk about and I hope you enjoy.

Watching ‘Jurassic World’ a Second Time

The other day I was a little bored and so I decided to watch Jurassic World, a movie I hadn’t seen since I watched it in the movie theaters three years ago, and I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised. When I saw this film all those years ago I highly enjoyed it, from a monster movie perspective. The dinosaurs were scary, the action was riveting, and the movie was very, very loud. Then as I thought about the movie I found myself getting angry. Why did they never let the lady in the movie shed those heels?! It was kind of absurd and it was part of the reason I haven’t watched the movie since.

Well, when I watched it at home the other day I discovered that it actually wasn’t as bad as I remembered. In fact, it was actually kind of a really good movie. Of course, it wasn’t perfect but it was engaging, I was horrified at times, the music was amazing, and I constantly kept getting chills. I don’t get chills from movies unless the film is kind of really good and Jurassic World was definitely that.

I mean look at that dinosaur. This Indominus Rex (I think that’s what it’s called) is terrifying! I was petrified as it kept chomping people away and chasing the heroes of the movie. *shudder* I’m so glad dinosaurs are extinct.

Jurassic World (2015)

And at the end of the movie when the original T. Rex went to survey his island and then roared with his iconic Tyrannosaurus Rex cry (I’m getting chills right now just thinking about it) I was like, “Yeah, this is a good movie.”

I can now say that I’m legitimately excited for Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom. It has the chance of maybe not being as good as its predecessor but I do know one thing that it will have that’s very enjoyable; lots and lots of roaring, people eating dinosaurs and that’s what is going to make the film a blast to watch in IMAX.

If you’ve never seen Jurassic World before I highly suggest you check it out. It’s a fantastic film to watch if you’re having a slightly boring day and you might need a good movie to watch. And it’ll get you ready for its sequel coming out later this year.

I thank you for reading and I hope you have a wonderful day.

My Opinion of the ‘Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom’ Trailer

I was one of the millions of people who went and saw Jurassic World two years ago and for the most part, I enjoyed it. It was a fantastic monster movie and that’s what I was expecting when I went to see it. I remember after I finished seeing it the movie began to sink in and I realized how exactly terrible the film really was. The female lead was never rid of her high heels, even as she ran through mud and got chased by dinosaurs. The children in the movie weren’t as lovable as the original kids in the first Jurassic Park. Chris Pratt was okay, he never got on my nerves in the film, but overall it definitely was an unfortunate failed attempt at jolting the franchise back to life. Surprisingly, it made a whole lot of money despite its decency and ended up becoming the fourth highest-grossing film of all time.

Now it’s been two and a half years since Jurassic World came out and during yesterday night’s football game a trailer for Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom debuted. Here it is.

I saw this trailer and I have to say, it did not excite me at all. There were a whole bunch of clips showcasing baby dinosaurs, giant, ferocious dinosaurs, and everyone’s favorite T-rex but there just wasn’t anything that wowed me about this trailer.

Yes, it looks like the situation this time around is a little bleaker but it still looks like it will be another one of those sequels that couldn’t surpass its predecessor. I am glad to see that at least the lady is wearing more appropriate clothing in this film. That’s a welcome upgrade.

I wish I could say this trailer made me very excited to see this film next June but unfortunately it didn’t. Maybe once I see the trailer in IMAX I’ll have a very different opinion on it but I probably won’t.

Well, I thank you for reading my review of this trailer and I hope you have a fantastic day.
