‘Hawkeye’ Drops a Very Jolly-Yet-Awesome Trailer

Well, the trailer for Hawkeye just dropped and Marvel Studios has gone full-throttle with the holiday season vibe for this series. Check it out.

This trailer was just…awesome. Like any great trailer, it gave us enough story to understand what’s going on but not enough information to ruin all of the fun surprises this series will undoubtedly deliver.

First off, I already thought that casting Hailee Steinfeld as Kate Bishop would be perfect casting and this trailer just reiterated that fact. I just know she’s going to be hilarious and such a bad*** all at once.

Secondly, this show is going to have some of the best action in the MCU. Mark my words.

Third, I love the music and the Christmas theme. It really feels like we’re getting an end-of-the-year present and I am here for all of it.

Four, I loved this trailer. It was fun, funny, and yeah, quite a bit entertaining. I can’t wait to see this story and how it connects with the wider MCU.

All in all, I’m excited for yet another fantastic Marvel Studios live-action series.

I thank you for reading and I hope you have a lovely day.

Is Marvel’s New Lineup of Characters Some Of the Best in the MCU?

For thirteen years now, the MCU has been one of the most incredible franchises. It took actors like the three Chrisses, Paul Rudd and Chadwick Boseman, Tom Hiddleston and Tom Holland, and so many others and turned them into superstars not just because they were in great movies but because Sarah Halley Finn knew they would be PERFECT for the roles they would play.

After Stan Lee’s death, I was skeptical for the future of Marvel Studios. Would the franchise still be great or would it lose its steam? I guess I underestimated just how brilliant Kevin Feige and the rest of the team has been through the years because the latest slate of characters and the actors that play them have been incredible.

Let’s just dive into the brand new characters and actors we have and will get to meet this year in the MCU.

WandaVision

How And When WandaVision's Agatha Harkness First Discovered Scarlet Witch's Powers, According To The Director - CINEMABLEND

The first piece of MCU content since Spider-Man: Far from Home, WandaVision was a risky return to the franchise we know and love so much but boy did it pay off. Not only was it a fantastic series with plenty of twists and turns and a very compelling story but it introduced us to two new powerful female characters that left quite the impression.

Kathryn Hahn’s Agatha Harkness stole the show every time she was onscreen. At times she was just straight down hilarious and at other times I would stare at the screen in awe because she did, in fact, feel like a perfect witch. She was the perfect foil to Wanda’s depression and I hope she returns in the future.

And then there was Teyonah Parris’s debut as Monica Rambeau. Do I think her acting skills need a little more refining? Yes I do, but I cannot deny my excitement to see her officially become one of the most powerful superheroes in the universe in The Marvels and to see her don whatever suit the incredible costume designers have created for her.

I also think she’s going to be able to deliver some powerful scenes opposite Brie Larson that could definitely have the potential to yank on my heart strings. She’s going to be a great fit with The Avengers.

The First Image of ‘Hawkeye’ Is Here!

Hawkeye is coming and finally we’ve got an official image plus a date for the next live-action MCU Disney+ series. Here it is.

Our Hawkeye comes face to face with his protege, Kate Bishop, a character who in the comics later takes on the mantle of Hawkeye herself.

I’m so excited to see how their stories unfold and connect and to see why they’re even meeting in the first place. And now we have an official release date: November 24.

‘Hawkeye’ May Be the Best Disney+ Series This Year

Hawkeye is a character that has long been slept on in the MCU and yet he’s managed to play a pivotal supporting role throughout his run in this franchise. I recently saw a post on Instagram that laid out the facts; every team that Hawkeye’s on wins. Don’t believe me? Here are the facts.

  1. When he became one of the core six Avengers they defeated Loki and his army of Chitauri at the Battle of New York.
  2. In Age of Ultron, they managed to beat Ultron on Sokovia and saved the world.
  3. In Captain America: Civil War, he joined Cap’s team and they won, considering that Steve Rogers and Bucky Barnes still managed to get away to try and stop the Winter Soldiers.
  4. He wasn’t a part of the fight in Infinity War and The Avengers lost terribly.
  5. He did join the fight in Endgame and well, The Avengers defeated Thanos and saved the universe.

Yeah, Hawkeye’s a secret MVP in the MCU but he’s never got the recognition he deserved…until now.

‘Hawkeye’: It’s Happening!

It’s happening everybody. The Hawkeye Disney+ series is currently filming and our first look at Hailee Steinfeld as Kate Bishop is here.

It’s official, everyone! Hailee Steinfeld is Kate Bishop and here we see her decked out in her outfit which looks perfect, by the way.

The cast for Hawkeye has been released and now it can also be confirmed that Florence Pugh will be reprising her role as Yelena Belova in this series. Will this series feature a new Black Widow-Hawkeye friendship? One between Kate Bishop and Belova? We’ll see but I’m already loving the series so far and I can’t wait to see its first teaser sometime next year.

I thank you for reading and I hope you have a great day.

Throwback Friday: Here are 5 Characters I Hope Will Be in Phase 4 of the MCU

On June 15 of this year, I wrote a post sharing the five superheroes I wanted to see in Phase 4 of the MCU. Here’s a look back at my choices and which ones actually ended up correct, which is amazing! Enjoy!

Monica Rambeau

Monica Rambeau’s debut was in Captain Marvel. Like Cassie Lang in the Ant-Man films, she was inspired by her superhero co-parent, in this case, it would be Carol Danvers, and she wanted to help fight the bad guys.

The events of Avengers: Endgame, which mostly takes place in the year 2023, is twenty-eight years after Captain Marvel. That means Monica Rambeau, by Avengers: Endgame is in her late thirties’. If Marvel follows her story like in the comics then that means she’s surely a superhero by that time. Maybe in a future film, we’ll get to see Captain Marvel and Monica Rambeau team up in the ultimate heroine-duo as two flying bolts of pure power. Wow. Now that’s a thought.
