This past weekend I watched the newest Jurassic World movie and for little kids it was a fun ride at theaters but as an adult…it was honestly one of the worst movies I’ve ever seen.
Dominion finds a way to bring back the OG trio whose role in the film comes a bit naturally but the way they’re utilized in the movie feels like the screenwriters are winking at us the whole time. There is not a single moment of magic in this film. Every scene plays the same, every outcome is predictable, and every moment is annoying.
Dominion has garnered the worst Rotten Tomatoes score in the entire franchise (30%) and it deserves it. It’s a terrible film that treats its audience as if they can throw dinosaurs in our face and we’ll be pleased and honestly, that’s not true.
I’m giving this movie 2 out of 5 stars and 70 out of 100. I would’ve given it a lower score if it hadn’t made me laugh so much because that’s how ridiculous it was.
I thank you for reading and I hope you have a wonderful day.
Jurassic World: Dominion is coming out in less than two months and that means we’re less than two months away from seeing the classic trio together again for this grand finale. Following the footsteps of other franchises, they’re bringing the iconic characters back played by Sam Neill, Laura Dern, and Jeff Goldblum. And while that’s exciting (and probably the best thing for this next movie considering how bad Fallen Kingdom was) it worries me for one MAJOR reason.

The Last Jedi introduced three new characters and Amilyn Holdo, who was one of them, has become one of my favorite new additions to the Star Wars universe. First of all, I already loved Laura Dern for her role in the iconic Jurassic Park so to find out she was going to be in a Star Wars movie was exciting enough as it is. Then I saw her character and I was immediately interested in this new, pink-haired (the first pink haired character in Star Wars I might add) admiral of the Resistance but I had no idea she would have as large a role as she did and that was even more exciting to discover.
A lot of people didn’t like the Resistance admiral but, I for one, loved her. I loved that she was dressed differently, I loved her pink hair, I loved her toughness and her authoritative attitude, and I loved how simply awesome she was. So today I’m going to share with you the Greatest Moments of Admiral Holdo. Enjoy!

The countdown is shortening and I can’t quite believe it. It’s only nine days left and I am positively ecstatic. It’s so close now that I’m not even theorizing or even trying to figure out what’s going to happen in the film because I know all of my answers will be answered in a matter of days. That’s thrilling.
So, this is the teaser I’m highlighting today.
I loved this teaser because anything with new footage of Kylo Ren is always exciting. And Rey is so sure of herself in this teaser. She knows she won’t betray Luke’s trust but will she stick to that promise? Thankfully I only have nine days to find out.
And the Character I’m Celebrating Today Is…
Vice Admiral Amilyn Holdo! Whenever there’s a new female character in Star Wars I always get very excited. Especially when they appear different than any other woman in Star Wars. I remember when I heard rumored descriptions of Laura Dern’s character as a pink-haired high positioned member of the Resistance. I was so interested in seeing who this character was. And the pink hair is just so awesome. I’m glad to see the creators of this film thinking outside of the box with these new characters and it once again confirms my excitement for whatever the new trilogy will be that Rian Johnson creates.
Well, that’s my teaser and character for today. I thank you for reading and I hope you have a fantastically wonderful day. May the Force Be With You.
