This week has passed and that means it’s time for another weekly Who’s Your segment. Last week I asked you all who was your favorite classic Star Wars character and this week I’m excited to see which Marvel villain is the one you happen to enjoy the most. Here are all of the villains.
Ronan the Accuser
Ronan was a slightly corny villain but that’s what made him so perfect for Guardians of the Galaxy. He was still a worthy adversary though as he nearly destroyed Xandar and was able to wield the might of the Power Stone. Thankfully the Guardians were more powerful than him though. 🙂
General “Thunderbolt” Ross
The anti-Hulk, that could’ve made for a very compelling and intimidating villain. While I don’t remember The Incredible Hulk very well I do remember this villain because he definitely was scary looking. Too bad the movie wasn’t better. *shrug*
Malekith definitely wasn’t anywhere near the most compelling MCU villain but he did provide Thor and Loki plenty of anguish as he managed to kill off Thor’s mother.

Avengers: Infinity War was the first Marvel movie to add real stakes for the heroes and finally provide us some shocking moments that made the wait for this film totally worth it and with so many of our favorite heroes dying I’m here to share with you which deaths struck my heartstrings the most. Enjoy!
5. Doctor Strange
Doctor Strange was so cool in this movie. In fact, he was perfect for the film and so when Thanos snapped his fingers and half of all life in the galaxy came to a startling end I was devastated to see Doctor Strange become one of that massive number. To think that we would have to watch Avengers 4 unfold without him, at least for a time was a real heartbreaker for me. I can’t wait until he’s revived so I can enjoy him again.

It’s Wednesday, five days (actually six if you count last Thursday) since Infinity War burst into theaters, and I think it’s finally time that I break the barrier and start talking about some of the more spoiler prone topics of the movie and I am so excited to share with you my surprise for all of these moments. Enjoy!
WARNING! EXTREME spoilers ahead and so if you haven’t seen the movie yet I HIGHLY advise you to discontinue reading this post now. Okay, now that that’s out of the way, let’s talk about this movie.
12. Thanos vs. The Hulk
Okay, like I’ve said before in other posts I had no idea who Thanos was or how powerful he was but Infinity War brought me up to speed real fast. The Hulk seemed to kick Thanos’s butt for a split second (like every other superhero in the movie) and then Thanos went plum martial arts on him. He beat The Hulk so badly The Hulk didn’t want to come back. I didn’t even know that was possible! At that moment I realized Thanos was the real deal and I ultimately became worried for the rest of the heroes. How right I would end up being.
11. Loki’s Death
I honestly didn’t see this coming. I thought they weren’t showing Loki in the trailers and commercials a lot because he was going to join Thanos and then later on betray him and team up with the Avengers to stop him. I didn’t think he was going to DIE in the first eight minutes!!!!
For so many years he had continued returning to the MCU despite the odds and finally, when Loki decided not to be a mischievous anymore and become heroic that was the moment he died. I can’t believe it. I actually almost cried but I was just a little too stunned to when it happened. I’m sorry Loki but you’re finally gone. I will definitely miss him.
10. Spider-Man’s New Suit Has Legs!
Okay, we all knew Spider-Man’s new suit was going to be special in some sort of very awesome way but I could’ve never imagined his suit having actual spider legs that could help him clamp down on stuff. That was undoubtedly one of the coolest surprises in the film and it only helped make Spider-Man that much cooler.

One of the most versatile characters in the MCU, maybe the most versatile, is Loki. He has gone from doting brother and son to ruthless villain and crazed traitor and back around to a mischievous troublemaker/likable hero. The story of Loki hasn’t been easy but it’s been one of the most fascinating stories to follow and now, with Avengers: Infinity War just three days away, on this final segment of The Evolution Of it’s time to look at Loki’s journey throughout the past seven years. Enjoy!
I haven’t watched Thor in a while so this section will be brief but I do remember this, Loki had a rough time in this movie. At the beginning of the film he was Odin’s second son and he loved his family but when he discovered that he was just the adopted child of the Ice Giants (I think that’s correct) he kind of went a little mad. He tried to claim the throne while Thor was hanging out on Earth as an outcast and tried to get his brother killed, both plans of which failed. At the end of the film he was presumed to be dead after a fierce fight with his brother Thor but Loki was far from done with the MCU.

Marvel, throughout its decade long run, have had some memorable villains and then some rather lackluster antagonists at the same time. Unfortunately, Marvel is more known for having terrible bad guys with one-dimensional agendas rather than having enticing antagonists that really push these heroes to the test. Thankfully, after the last few films the villains in Marvel are getting a better wrap than they once did but there’s still work to be done. So, on that note, I’m going to provide you my ranking of the seventeen Marvel villains so far.
Malekith is definitely the worst Marvel villain. When I watched Thor: The Dark World I was flabbergasted by how laughable his ideals and his plan for universe domination was. Malekith was 100% corny and I have nothing more to say.
16. Ronan the Accuser
I literally just watched Guardians of the Galaxy yesterday after not having seen it for quite a while and Ronan was definitely not a great villain. He was powerful, nothing more, but his corny aspect was perfect for the film and at least he was a rather formidable foe.
15. Yellow Jacket
Yellow Jacket was laughable. He was cynical, wanted to become the hero of humanity, and everything that a cliché villain is. Yellow Jacket is as forgettable as they come and that’s why he’s so low on this list.
