If you may recall Disney is making their own streaming service which is set to arrive next year and it’s going to have all sorts of incredible Disney stuff on it. From a live-action Star Wars show to new live-action movies (like 101 Dalmations) set only to debut on the streaming service. But now, in the last 24 hours, rumors have arrived that it seems that Disney is looking to make some rather awesome live-action Marvel shows focusing on actual characters from the MCU. And, as you can probably guess from the title of this post, the two characters who are front in line to get their own show is yours truly, Loki and Scarlet Witch.
Now, nothing has been confirmed yet but this news seems pretty legit and most likely will happen. The actors who play the characters also haven’t confirmed that they’ll return for these potential live-action shows but it’s still an exciting prospect all the same.

The last time I wrote this post was in March of this year which was a full month before Avengers: Infinity War came out. Now, with the Marvel year over and a few new villains under the franchise’s belt it’s time to update this ranking.
Malekith is still the worst villain in Marvel.
19. Ronan the Accuser
While Guardians of the Galaxy will always remain as one of my favorite Marvel films Ronan is just…corny.
18. Yellow Jacket
I like Yellow Jacket’s suit, I don’t like the man within the suit. He was way too cliché and that can be a problem.

The arrival of Thanos has been building since The Avengers introduced him in its first end-credits scene and he finally fully arrived in this year’s Avengers: Infinity War. His quest to retrieve all six Infinity Stones was the main basis of Infinity War‘s story and to everyone’s great horror he actually achieved his goal, wiping out half of all existence in the process. But how did this happen? What steps did he take to committing this horrific deed? And who unknowingly aided him in this genocidal quest? Loki, that’s who. Let me tell you why.
Before I get to the events of Avengers: Infinity War let’s look back at Thor: The Dark World. While this movie is clearly one of the worst installments in the Marvel franchise it does play a key part in Thor and Loki’s relationship as it shows the brothers become allies truly for the first time in the MCU.
Loki ends up “dying” and that’s when this revelation begins. When Loki “died” and assumed the throne in the form of Odin that was supposedly four years before the events of Thor: Ragnarok. In those years Asgard was leaderless and the nine realms were thrown into chaos while Loki sat around looking at plays and enjoying life.
Now that’s where this revelation introduces Etri the Dwarf.

Star Wars and Marvel are the two mega-franchises dominating the cinema world right now so of course comparisons are going to be made. There are a lot of elements that can be compared between the two franchises but one thing that is a huge staple to a movie is its villain. If the antagonist is memorable the film is unforgettable. If the villain is kind of lame seven times out of ten that movie is going to easily be a mediocre film. Star Wars was built off of the basis of heroes and villains and Marvel has, much in the same way, been built on that same foundation too.
So, today I’m going to compare three of the franchises’ best villains and see whether Star Wars or Marvel comes out on top. Enjoy!

This week has passed and that means it’s time for another weekly Who’s Your segment. Last week I asked you all who was your favorite classic Star Wars character and this week I’m excited to see which Marvel villain is the one you happen to enjoy the most. Here are all of the villains.
Ronan the Accuser
Ronan was a slightly corny villain but that’s what made him so perfect for Guardians of the Galaxy. He was still a worthy adversary though as he nearly destroyed Xandar and was able to wield the might of the Power Stone. Thankfully the Guardians were more powerful than him though. 🙂
General “Thunderbolt” Ross
The anti-Hulk, that could’ve made for a very compelling and intimidating villain. While I don’t remember The Incredible Hulk very well I do remember this villain because he definitely was scary looking. Too bad the movie wasn’t better. *shrug*
Malekith definitely wasn’t anywhere near the most compelling MCU villain but he did provide Thor and Loki plenty of anguish as he managed to kill off Thor’s mother.

Avengers: Infinity War was the first Marvel movie to add real stakes for the heroes and finally provide us some shocking moments that made the wait for this film totally worth it and with so many of our favorite heroes dying I’m here to share with you which deaths struck my heartstrings the most. Enjoy!
5. Doctor Strange
Doctor Strange was so cool in this movie. In fact, he was perfect for the film and so when Thanos snapped his fingers and half of all life in the galaxy came to a startling end I was devastated to see Doctor Strange become one of that massive number. To think that we would have to watch Avengers 4 unfold without him, at least for a time was a real heartbreaker for me. I can’t wait until he’s revived so I can enjoy him again.

It’s Wednesday, five days (actually six if you count last Thursday) since Infinity War burst into theaters, and I think it’s finally time that I break the barrier and start talking about some of the more spoiler prone topics of the movie and I am so excited to share with you my surprise for all of these moments. Enjoy!
WARNING! EXTREME spoilers ahead and so if you haven’t seen the movie yet I HIGHLY advise you to discontinue reading this post now. Okay, now that that’s out of the way, let’s talk about this movie.
12. Thanos vs. The Hulk
Okay, like I’ve said before in other posts I had no idea who Thanos was or how powerful he was but Infinity War brought me up to speed real fast. The Hulk seemed to kick Thanos’s butt for a split second (like every other superhero in the movie) and then Thanos went plum martial arts on him. He beat The Hulk so badly The Hulk didn’t want to come back. I didn’t even know that was possible! At that moment I realized Thanos was the real deal and I ultimately became worried for the rest of the heroes. How right I would end up being.
11. Loki’s Death
I honestly didn’t see this coming. I thought they weren’t showing Loki in the trailers and commercials a lot because he was going to join Thanos and then later on betray him and team up with the Avengers to stop him. I didn’t think he was going to DIE in the first eight minutes!!!!
For so many years he had continued returning to the MCU despite the odds and finally, when Loki decided not to be a mischievous anymore and become heroic that was the moment he died. I can’t believe it. I actually almost cried but I was just a little too stunned to when it happened. I’m sorry Loki but you’re finally gone. I will definitely miss him.
10. Spider-Man’s New Suit Has Legs!
Okay, we all knew Spider-Man’s new suit was going to be special in some sort of very awesome way but I could’ve never imagined his suit having actual spider legs that could help him clamp down on stuff. That was undoubtedly one of the coolest surprises in the film and it only helped make Spider-Man that much cooler.
