‘Obi-Wan Kenobi’ Was Amazing!

That finale was actually incredible. For so long these Disney+ series have botched the finale but thankfully Obi-Wan Kenobi stuck the landing big time.

I smiled, I gasped, I cried, I cheered, and when the credits began to roll I clapped. This series was even better than I’d imagined it would be. It was a different story than I expected, it created a bridge to the Original Trilogy while also managing to be fresh and new. And yes, it definitely left room for a second season.

And that ending?! Wow, wow, wow, wow.

I thank you for reading and I hope you have a fantastic day.

‘Obi-Wan Kenobi’ Was Fun

I love this show. It’s a simple fact that I can’t express enough. It’s so fun to watch every week, it reminds me why Obi-Wan Kenobi was my favorite character for so many years, and it just feels like classic Star Wars. It’s also nice having lightsabers back, if I’m being honest.

I absolutely can’t wait to see what happens next week and yes, we need a second season.

I thank you for reading and I hope you have a great day.

‘Obi-Wan Kenobi’ Starts As Intensely As I Could’ve Hoped For

It’s nearly half-past 2am as I write this, yet I am absolutely wide awake because I just watched the first two episodes of Obi-Wan Kenobi, and my mind is blown. The trailers did not give anything away. In fact, what you see from the trailers is practically everything from these two episodes.

From the literal first second the show lets you know that this was made for the fans. It’s been seventeen years since we thought we’d never see Star Wars again, leastwise Obi-Wan Kenobi’s story continued and yet…here we are. From there, as Samuel L. Jackson says so eloquently in Jurassic Park: “Hold onto your butts.”

Both episodes together combine for a total of an hour and a half of Star Wars greatness. And through this magical runtime, there’s a lot to experience as a Star Wars fan. One can feel emotion at simply Obi-Wan’s pained expression or you can feel a sense of wonder watching Kenobi being the sand hermit we always knew he was. There’s also a genuine sense of fear when the villains come around because they are exactly that: villains.

The Trailer for ‘Obi-Wan Kenobi’ Is Here

Oh my goodness, it’s here everyone. The trailer for Obi-Wan Kenobi has finally arrived. Check it out.

And that’s exactly the type of trailer I expected; something very simple but powerful.

Obi-Wan Kenobi is back! And he’s got a lot of enemies coming his way. Seeing the Grand Inquisitor and the Fifth Brother is already exciting enough as it is, but we also have a newcomer, Inquisitor Reva, who looks absolutely fantastic!!!

The opening music is beautiful and totally magical but once you add in Duel of the Fates it’s a foregone conclusion that yes, the trailer is going to be epic.

I think, once again, what surprises me the most about these shows is how good they look. I mean, this looks like a movie and I absolutely can’t wait to see what Star Wars has in store for us come May 25.

I thank you for reading and I hope you have a magical day. May the Force be with you, always.

The First Official Images for ‘Obi-Wan Kenobi’ Have Arrived!

HUMP DAY! No, seriously, I’m trying not to write in all caps because right now I’m losing my mind a little. The Entertainment Weekly issue for Obi-Wan Kenobi just dropped and yes, my entire month has been made. Here they are!

A gruff, worn Obi-Wan Kenobi graces the front of Entertainment Weekly. His expression says it all. This is not the same Kenobi that we knew from the prequels.

One thing Obi-Wan Kenobi has always been good at is spying. Well, he’s back to being shady in this picture and I LOVE IT!

We knew this show was going to have Inquisitors but…it’s got an Inquisitor!!!! Moses Ingram makes her Star Wars debut as Inquisitor Reva and honestly, the realization that we will be getting lightsaber duels in this show is getting me all giddy. I’m so excited.

My Thoughts About Disney+ Day

Well, Disney+ Day was fun and a bit disappointing. We got plenty of exciting announcements for the streaming service with series and original films set to drop through 2023. Marvel Studios did their thing and gave us a bunch of tantalizing new looks at their upcoming series like Hawkeye (which basically gave us a whole clip and it was FANTASTIC) as well as exclusive sneak peeks for Moon Knight, She-Hulk, Ms. Marvel, and Secret Invasion.

We also got some confirmed and brand-new MCU series to look forward to like:
