There’s a Secret Marvel Movie Coming Out Next Year!

If you haven’t noticed Marvel Studios is jam-packing a lot of content into our faces in the next few years. I’m talking Disney+ series and so many movies it’s almost hard to keep up and yet…I’m excited for all of it.

With the Black Widow release date announcement two days ago the Marvel Studios schedule shifted and new “official” dates were released for the franchise’s slate of upcoming movies leading all the way into 2023. In case you don’t know them, here are the movie dates for the officially announced films in 2021 and 2022.

July 9, 2021: Black Widow

September 3, 2021: Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings

November 5, 2021: The Eternals

Mighty Thor Should Wear Her Iconic Helmet

Thor: Love and Thunder is currently filming and while we won’t be getting the movie until next year it’s still fun to think about. One thing I’m really intrigued to see is Jane Foster’s return as Mighty Thor and how she will look in the film. There’s one accessory, however, that I feel is necessary for her character and that is her iconic helmet.

6 Things To Know About Jane Foster's Mighty Thor - CINEMABLEND

In the comics, Jane Foster, who has been diagnosed with cancer, comes across the hammer and she becomes Mighty Thor. No one knows that this lady version of Thor is Jane Foster, a fact perpetuated by the helmet that hides her appearance.

I think it will be essential to keep the helmet as a tool of the story as Foster secretly goes on missions as Mighty Thor only to later be revealed to be Jane, hence blowing Thor’s mind in a really funny way and thus impressing Valkyrie.

Now, I know, the MCU isn’t very keen on helmets. Thor wore his iconic helmet for maybe a minute long in one scene in Thor and the only other characters who have helmets are Iron Man, War Machine, and Pepper.

Plus, I just think she would look really cool and fierce wielding the hammer, kicking butt, and wearing this helmet. We’ll see what happens but overall, I’m excited.

I thank you for reading and I hope you have a lovely day.

The Guardians of the Galaxy Will Reportedly Appear in ‘Thor: Love and Thunder’

Vin Diesel is making his rounds for his new movie, Bloodshot, and during a recent interview he revealed that the Guardians of the Galaxy will appear in Thor: Love and Thunder. That totally makes sense considering that the last time we saw Thor he was hitching a ride with the Guardians at the end of Avengers: Endgame.

Will they play a major role in the film? Unlikely. However, knowing they will be in the movie is exciting nonetheless.

I thank you for reading and I hope you have a wonderful day.

Is ‘Thor: Love and Thunder’ Going To Be a Romantic Comedy?

It was announced on Saturday that the fourth Thor film would be called Thor: Love and Thunder and would feature Natalie Portman as female Thor. Tessa Thompson revealed that Valkyrie’s ready to find a queen. On Sunday I had an epiphany. Thor: Love and Thunder is writing itself as a romantic comedy. Think about it.

Taika Waititi likes to subvert movie genres into a superhero format. Thor: Ragnarok was practically a buddy comedy and for Thor: Love and Thunder Taika Waititi has totally set up a love triangle, hence it will most likely be a romantic comedy wrapped around a superhero story.

Thor totally digs both of these powerful women, Valkyrie kind of likes Thor but more as a friend than anything but she may be impressed by the new and improved Jane, and Jane, well, she already dumped Thor so who knows how she feels about him.

All in all, Taika Waititi is going to make another zany superhero film that’s certain to please the masses and I’m definitely intrigued.

Do you like the idea of Thor: Love and Thunder being a romantic comedy? Feel free to share your thoughts in the comments below.

I thank you for reading and I hope you have a spectacular day.

What’s Your Favorite Moment from the Marvel Panel at San Diego Comic-Con?

It’s the final day of San Diego Comic-Con but for Marvel fans the big day was yesterday. As you may have read in my recap of the Marvel Studios panel last night featuring what we can look forward to in the franchise in the coming years the MCU clearly has a lot in store for us entertainment-wise. From a new Thor movie destined to bring plenty of laughs and more powerful female characters into the fold to the announcement of Mahershala Ali playing Blade, this exhibition was undoubtedly a raucous place. I’m still buzzing with excitement over all of the news and that’s why I figured it had to be the topic for today’s Who’s Your Favorite?

Once again, here’s a reminder of the surprises of the night.

1. Black Widow

Black Widow is the next Marvel movie to look forward to and it’s become pretty clear, the movie is going to be awesome. With footage displaying gritty action scenes that, according to those who saw it, feel like a crossover between Captain America: The Winter Soldier and Mission: Impossible, Scarlet Johannson is going to prove to everyone why she’s actually the coolest Original Avenger. Recapping the Incredible Marvel Studios Hall H Panel at San Diego Comic-Con

Waking up this Sunday morning my head is still throbbing with a slight headache from all of the exciting news last night from Marvel Studios. It was said there was going to be a panel depicting what’s next for Phase 4 of the MCU, I knew there was going to be some information about the upcoming Black Widow movie and Eternals film but…I was not expecting what would transpire next.

Today, I’m recapping the mind-blowing event last night. You may have been like me, refreshing the Twitter and following along with the live tweets and updates on the websites. If not, prepare for your mind to be blown! Enjoy.

The First Eleven Years

The panel began with a giant montage celebrating the first eleven years of the MCU. Avengers: Endgame spearheaded the end of the montage with Thanos saying, “I am inevitable” followed by Tony Stark’s already-iconic response, “And I am Iron Man.” A few more clips of Endgame were shown before the logo for the first three phases of the MCU was released, which you can see in the picture above. The Infinity Saga. Isn’t it beautiful?

After that, the real news commenced. Continue reading Recapping the Incredible Marvel Studios Hall H Panel at San Diego Comic-Con
