Today’s ’What If…’ Was So Much Fun!

So, the last four weeks of What If…? were very dour. From having to watch the OG Avengers being killed off to seeing Doctor Strange lose the love of his life over and over again to even last week, watching Killmonger live up to his name was just…shocking, to say the least.

So, this week’s episode was a welcome respite from the darker tones and was just plain fun.

Chris Hemsworth’s return as Thor was hilarious and don’t even get me started with Loki! Oh my goodness, I absolutely LOVED Loki in this episode and I’m sure Hiddleston had an absolute blast playing him.

All in all, the entire objective of this episode was to just have fun and that I did. And then…that ending happened!

I thank you for reading and I hope you have a great day. Next up, Star Wars: Visions.

I Think Loki May Actually Be In ‘Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness’

I’m not one to get worked up by rumors…unless those rumors are really substantial. Apparently, before Loki had even ended, there were rumors going around that Loki was going to appear in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. Those rumors seemed even more validated after the Loki finale.

The finale’s only post-credits scene featured a simple but very exciting reveal; Loki Will Return in Season 2. Immediately I began to assume that this would be Loki’s next rodeo instead of an appearance in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness but then something occurred to me.

Neither Kevin Feige, Victoria Alonso, or Tom Hiddleston have disputed these rumors that he would appear in the Doctor Strange sequel and considering how good Marvel Studios has been at keeping secrets lately it’s very plausible that he could play a sizable role in the film.

And here’s another clue that yes, he could actually be in the film.

Tom Hiddleston Recaps Loki's Entire MCU Story So Far In 30 Seconds

When Loki was coming out Tom Hiddleston did several promotional videos, one being a 30-second history lesson about Loki’s story in the MCU. And in this video he still has his black dyed hair!

They had been finished filming Loki so why would he have his hair still dyed? Meanwhile, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness had just concluded filming in mid-April. Loki would premiere on Disney+ a little over a month later, meaning he could’ve done this promotional video shortly after potentially filming for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness which was in production in London where he lives!

And is it just a coincidence that Michael Waldron, the head writer for Loki, is also writing Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness? 👀

Oh, the dots are connecting and if Loki is in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness I’m going to lose my mind!

I thank you for reading and I hope you have a great day.

My Ten Favorite Loki Moments

Loki is honestly one of the greatest Marvel characters ever brought to the big screen, even when he was a sneaky villain who constantly did infuriating things he was so likable. After recently watching a Youtube video ranking Loki’s best moments I decided I might as well make my own list. So here it is. My ten favorite Loki moments.

10. “Get help.”

Thor: Ragnarok's "get help" scene was thought up by star Chris Hemsworth

While the movies established Loki and Thor as brothers they were portrayed as feuding brothers for most of their time together in the MCU but Thor: Ragnarok did give us a glimpse into their lives as children. The “Get help” is not only funny but so cute. I wish we could’ve had more time with them doing brotherly things but maybe we still can.

My Evaluation of the Finale of ‘Loki’

Yesterday’s episode of Loki was mindblowing. It was everything I was hoping it could be as a finale while perfectly setting up Phase 4 of the MCU in a way that was concise and actually kind of brilliant. So, with no further delay, let me share my thoughts with you.

MAJOR SPOILERS AHEAD!!!! You have been warned.

That ‘Loki’ Finale Has Me Shook

Well I’ve seen it, the glorious finale, and wow was it enthralling!

When I first noticed that the episode would only be 47 minutes long I was, truthfully, a little bummed. But then the finale began and I instantly knew we were in for a treat. From that opening intro to the last second, Loki‘s finale literally never disappoints.

The villain reveal is legitimately shocking in all of the best ways. Loki and Sylvie… *scream* And yes, the show leaves on a cliffhanger so massive I’m literally sitting here writing this at 5am in the morning wide-eyed, elated, and just downright SHOCKED!

I, of course, will delve into the episode’s spoilers tomorrow but for now…Loki is the series that I thought it would be, it makes WandaVision and The Falcon and the Winter Soldier look like Ant-Man compared to Captain America: Civil War, and finally, we got a finale that was, in fact, the best episode of the series.

I thank you for reading and I hope you have a great day.

‘Loki’ Gave Me Everything I Needed This Week…And a Little Bit More!

A few weeks back I realized something. Loki was the best MCU installment since Infinity War. Each week has confirmed that initial gut reaction to this rollercoaster of a magical ride.

Loki has always been one of my favorite Marvel characters but it is, ultimately, this show that has shown this character in such a powerful, profound way that I’m honestly quite moved, excited, and downright overjoyed for the potential of where this story can lead as a whole in this franchise.

Today’s episode was everything I expected from this series’ penultimate episode; it was funny, riveting, a little bit more romantic, and that ending had me staring at the screen with a wide-eyed smile.

I think what I’m most excited about with this show is the idea that maybe, for the first time with these Marvel series, we have a chance for the finale to actually be the best episode.

Loki has set up enough of a storyline where the end looks very grand and I. Am. HERE FOR IT!

Tomorrow, of course, I’ll delve deeper into the episode but for now, time for a rewatch.

I thank you for reading and I hope you have a great day.
