A Movie Ranking: Anne Hathaway

Anne Hathaway has become one of my favorite actresses for her work. She can be a comic book character at one moment and a smart galaxy-traveling professor the next. So, for this week’s A Movie Ranking, I wanted to highlight her. Enjoy!

4. Ocean’s Eight

I wish I could say Ocean’s Eight was a tremendous remake of the beloved Ocean’s trilogy but honestly, this was a bad movie. So bad, in fact, that I couldn’t finish it.

3. Alice in Wonderland

Johnny Depp and Alan Rickman in Alice in Wonderland (2010)

Anne Hathaway was great as the beautiful but very stark White Queen in this movie.

2. The Dark Knight Rises

Anne Hathaway in The Dark Knight Rises (2012)

Anne Hathaway was AMAZING as Selina Kyle/Catwoman. I mean, I love her in this movie! She exudes everything that makes Catwoman lovable and I would’ve loved to see more with her as this character.

1. Interstellar

Matthew McConaughey in Interstellar (2014)

In Interstellar Anne Hathaway plays a professor named Brand who journeys alongside Matthew McConaughey’s Cooper on a space adventure unlike any other. I already loved Hathaway for her role as Catwoman in The Dark Knight Rises but to see her play such a powerful role in Interstellar made me love her even more.

Unfortunately, as of now, these are the only films I’ve seen her in but hey, four is a decent number of movies I’ve seen with her. (Who hopes to see her in a Marvel movie because I know I do.)

I thank you for reading and I hope you have a splendid day.
