Wow, that episode hit me directly in the feels. I’m talking emotional punch after emotional punch, this episode was not backing down and I love Marvel for that.

Marvel Studios isn’t afraid to tackle the harder subjects and this show has definitely gone there as it fully fleshes out Sam Wilson’s evolution and journey into becoming the next Captain America. It isn’t easy being a black man with such a responsibility and it would be unrealistic for Marvel to approach this story in that light.

But more than that, this penultimate episode is setting up what appears to be a fantastic finale. I’m talking the type of finale that’s worth getting hyped about. I’ve got a lot of things to say but for now I’ll just say this. The Falcon and the Winter Soldier is one of the best installments in the MCU and totally worthy of standing alongside predecessors like Captain America: The Winter Soldier. I love this show!
